Scope of Practice

Private Wellbeing Advisory.

Not clinical treatment.

What this service is, what it is not, and how it relates to professional clinical care.

What Kym Power offers

Kym Power is a Private Wellbeing Advisor with over 30 years of professional experience working with high-performing individuals in private, confidential settings. This work draws on extensive training and practice in the areas of human performance, personal development, emotional wellbeing, nervous system support, and private advisory.

Kym guides and walks the journey with each person she works with. It is deeply personal, entirely private and carefully nurtured, regardless of the engagement length. Whatever is troubling you, we work our way through it and then take our focus forward to what you really want. It may be a dream or desire that you’ve secretly yearned for (sometimes for years). It’s not too late! We will get clear on it and then patiently walk toward it, step by step, until it’s real.

Scope. What this work is not

Outside scope.

This service does not provide, and should not be interpreted as providing, any of the following:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis or treatment of any kind
  • Psychological or psychiatric assessment, diagnosis or treatment
  • Prescribing, recommending or advising on medication
  • Emergency mental health intervention or crisis response
  • Advice that should be sought from a qualified medical, psychological or psychiatric professional

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal ideation, or a medical emergency, please contact emergency services immediately or reach out to a crisis support line. A list of resources is available on our Mental Health Resources page.

Existing professional care

Complement, not replace.

Some people who work with Kym may already be receiving support from a doctor, psychologist, therapist or other professional, and that’s completely fine. This work sits comfortably alongside existing care. Clients often find the approaches complement each other in ways they didn’t expect. The one exception: Kym does not work with clients in active psychiatric crisis, active suicidality or active psychosis. If you are experiencing any of these right now, please contact your treating clinician or visit our Mental Health Resources page.

The assessment

A note on the Private Wellbeing Assessment.

The Private Wellbeing Assessment is an informational tool, not a diagnostic instrument.

  • Results are informational and educational only, not a clinical assessment, diagnosis or treatment recommendation
  • Results will vary between individuals. No specific outcome is guaranteed
  • If your result raises questions or feels significant, reach out to Kym directly to discuss it
