Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information is collected through kympower.com, why it is collected, how it is handled and the choices available to you.
Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Kym Power, Private Wellbeing Advisor. The website address is kympower.com. Privacy enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Your name and email address.
- Your multiple-choice responses to the Private Wellbeing Assessment and the result generated from those responses.
- Information you choose to include in an email, enquiry, booking request or private conversation.
- Basic technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, website activity and cookie information used for security, analytics and normal website operation.
The Assessment does not ask you to provide detailed medical records or a clinical history. Its questions are multiple-choice and are designed for personal reflection, not diagnosis.
3. How we collect information
Information is collected when you complete the Assessment, contact Kym, book a conversation or service, subscribe to communications, or use the website. Some technical information is collected automatically through cookies, analytics and security tools.
4. How we use your information
Information may be used to:
- Calculate and privately deliver your Assessment result.
- Respond to enquiries and communicate with you.
- Arrange and provide services you request.
- Maintain website security, prevent misuse and understand website performance.
- Meet legal, administrative and record-keeping obligations.
- Send updates or marketing only where you have requested or consented to receive them.
Assessment answers are not used to make clinical decisions and are not a medical or psychological diagnosis.
5. Assessment privacy
Your Assessment result is intended for you. An account is not required. Your name, email address, responses and result are used only as reasonably necessary to operate the Assessment, deliver the result, provide support you request and maintain the security and integrity of the service.
We do not sell your personal information. Assessment responses are not used for unrelated advertising or marketing without your permission.
6. Service providers and disclosure
Limited information may be processed by trusted service providers that support website hosting, forms, email delivery, scheduling, payments, analytics, security and other essential business systems. These providers receive only the information reasonably required to perform their function.
Information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law, or where reasonably necessary to address a serious threat to a person’s life, health or safety.
7. Overseas processing
Some technology providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, reasonable steps are taken to work with reputable providers and protect information consistently with applicable Australian privacy requirements.
8. Cookies and analytics
The website may use necessary cookies, analytics and security technologies. These help the website function, measure general usage and protect against spam, fraud or unauthorised access. You can restrict cookies through your browser settings, although some website features may not function correctly.
Embedded content from another website may collect information and use cookies according to that provider’s own privacy policy.
9. Marketing communications
Completing the Assessment does not automatically subscribe you to general marketing. If you separately choose to receive updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the communication or by emailing [email protected].
10. Storage, security and retention
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide requested services, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes and satisfy legal obligations. When no longer required, information is deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable.
11. Access, correction and deletion
You may ask what personal information is held about you, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or request deletion where the information is no longer required to be retained.
To make a request, email [email protected]. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.
12. Privacy concerns and complaints
If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, please contact Kym first at [email protected] so the matter can be reviewed and addressed. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner through oaic.gov.au.
13. Third-party links
The website may link to third-party websites or services. Kym Power is not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review the privacy policy of any external service you choose to use.
14. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, Assessment, business systems or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with the updated date.
